F&F: International brand NOW AVAILABLE at TESCO

Assalamualaikum and Hye everyone!!

How are you guys doing? I'm doing great nowadays! But kinda busy as the finals are coming up next week. I am working on all subjects so I can maintain my cgpa for this semester. Hehehe, ok that's not the point for today's update. Recently, I've been reading about a blog post from a famous gorgeous drop dead vogue fashion blogger Hafiz Cutecarry. I 've been following his blog quite sometimes actually. F&F is actually a brand from UK which the design was made through the F&F design team. It is an international brand with local price. As the tagline says, F&F clothing, designed by F&F, priced by TESCO. I actually already realized that F&F was there at TESCO. I mean every hypermarket sold clothes as well (pegila Giant, Carefour, sume pun jual baju) but this is kinda big because the latest collection Spring/Summer 2011 was launched during the Stylo Fashion Grand Prix. Atas runway lagi ada model jalan-jalan pakai baju F&F tau. Just realize that their design is acceptable for Malaysian! Hahaha, selama ni sebelah mata pun tak pandang!

F&F is available at all TESCO franchise and you can get their collection with surprisingly amazingly AFFORDABLE price! The design was not so bad, I touched the material and it suits the quality. Well janganla compare dengan Paul Smith or Armani pulak! The best thing about this brand is they have a collection for KIDS! I mean not a typical fashion for KIDS, but a very practical design for the children! Now, there's no reason for children to look boring ok, because F&F even ade legging and cardigan for them!! How cool is that?? hahaha, here are some photos that I can share with you guys. Photo taken at TESCO Kuala Selangor. Their lines for guys. They even have front pleated shirt which looks really cool for me. But I didn't manage to snap the pictures of it. (Takut kantoi dek pegawai TESCO tuh..huhu). Bawah lagi is their lady's lines. Blouse and printed t-shirts, everything is looking good! Oh, ade makhluk sesat tu that's my sister. Belek je, tak beli pun...~

This one is the kids collection. I was super excited when I saw the kid's apparel. The are super stylo and trendy! From t-shirt, dress, mini dress, tutu, legging, jacket, coat, cardigan and even tank top! (nasib baik dorang x buat kaftan untuk bebudak). If you can see in the above photo, there is a cheetah printed legging just for them1 Wow! Now even a children can look fierce! hahaha, salute lahh!!

So what are you guys waiting for? Bolehla pegi serang TESCO je lepas ni kalau nak shopping baju. The price is really affordable I tell you. Never exceed RM100!! Just go and have a different shopping experience at a hypermarket store like TESCO. Lain rase dye shopping Pavi ngan TESCO nih..hahaha, that's all for today! KthanksBYE!^_^

Spring/Summer Footwear Trend: Gladiator Sandals

Introduction

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; or more appropriately, your eyes. I bring to you a debate of epic proportions – the gladiator sandal and its presence on our feet.

Men and women have adorned the gladiator sandal, in its simplest form, before records began. Notables such as Julius Caesar, Pythagoras and even Jesus himself sporting the trend – dapper fellas. Fast-forward 2000 years and the gladiator sandal has re-emerged, albeit undoubtedly more popular with the females then us warriors of the wardrobe.

As is the norm with many modern fashion trends, gladiator sandals transcended genders and appeared last summer in what can only be described as a ‘minor trend’. However, with the summer fast approaching this year could well be time for the gladiator sandal.

How to Wear

• Leave the socks in their draw. Socks and sandals are almost always an incomprehensible mix – to a similar effect of badly coordinated double denim.
• Wear the garment and not the other way around. If you are self-conscious about donning something such as gladiator sandals, leave them on the shelf in the store. Your reservations will undoubtedly show up and draw attention to your discomfort in wearing them. You will do nothing but leave what was originally a well put-together outfit looking a former shadow of its once stylish self.
• No overgrown toenails or un-kept feet please. Grooming shouldn’t be too alien to most I’d hope. If your phalanges are going to be on show lets have them looking tip-top; that goes for the rest of your exposed foot as well. Conclusion

During the warmer months you’d be hard pressed not to notice the number of flip-flops, sandals and other toe baring footwear that the male population embrace. Gladiator sandals have yet to join any such list of what would be classed as the norm, and are likely to be met with a few questioning glances. Fashion however is no stranger to controversy; in fact it embraces it and swallows it whole.

Assalamualaikum semua, sebelum ni ada I post satu artikel kan pasal kisah memberi salam ni? I pun ekceli tak tahu menahu sumber sahih, I main share je...Baru ni I ade terbace plak pasal penggunaan perkataan SALAM tu sebenarnya boleh. Eh?? Boleh ke tak ni sebenarnye?? Aritu kate tak boleh?? So untuk menjawab kekeliruan ni, I nak share another artikel yang sudah diperbetulkan isi kandungannya. Harap boleh membantu dan maafkan kekhilafan I ye^_^

Assalamualaikum, Beberapa hari kebelakangan ini tersebar artikel bertajuk JANGAN GUNAKAN PERKATAAN "SALAM", yang dipanjangkan oleh orang yang berlainan.

Mengapa sampai melarang menggunakan perkataan SALAM?

Perkataan SALAM atau AS SALAM tiada salahnya, malah merupakan salah satu Asmaul Husna. Saya tidak tahu siapa penulis asal artikel ini, yang sangat mengelirukan, kerana ramai yang telah copy & paste dan menyebarkannya. Yang pasti ia bukan bersumber dari Ustaz Zawawi, hanya kata-kata beliau digunakan dalam artikel ini.

Terjemahan ayatnya pun tidak lengkap...terus saja dimaksudkan SALAM itu sebagai SELAMAT TINGGAL...lalu diajak semua orang agar JANGAN GUNAKAN PERKATAAN "SALAM".

Penulisnya menulis:

JANGAN GUNAKAN PERKATAAN "SALAM"

بِسْــــمِ ﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

SIAPA YANG MENGGUNAKAN PERKATAAN "SALAM"? apakah maksud disebaliknya??

Maka berpalinglah (hai Muhammad) dari mereka dan katakanlah:"Salam (selamat tinggal)".

Kelak mereka akan mengetahui (nasib mereka yangburuk). (QS. 43:89)

فَٱصۡفَحۡ عَنۡہُمۡ وَقُلۡ سَلَـٰمٌ۬‌ۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Terjemahan ayat yang lengkap seperti berikut: (Tuhan menjawab rayuannya dengan berfirman): "Jika demikian, maka janganlah engkau (wahai Muhammad) hiraukan mereka, dan katakanlah: ` Selamat tinggallah! ' Kemudian mereka akan mengetahui kelak (akibat keingkarannya)! " (Az-Zukhruf 43:89)

Salam maksudnya selamat, dalam terjemahan ayat ini, "salam" bermaksud ucapan selamat tinggal, namun ia tetap sebagai doa keselamatan bagi mereka, agar di suatu masa mereka yang engkar itu akan sedar. Ini dikategorikan oleh ulama tafsir sebagai salam al-Musalamah/al-Mutarakah; iaitu bermaksud selamat tinggal. Sementara salam bagi orang-orang mukmin disebut sebagai salam at-Tahiyyah; iaitu bermaksud mendoakan keselamatan dan keamanan.

Mana boleh kita mengajak orang ramai agar jangan guna kalimah salam, sedangkan salam merupakan salah satu asmaul husna, dan banyak ayat-ayat yang menggunakan perkataan salam untuk mengucap takzim kepada para Nabi. Malah perkataan SALAM itu dari Allah SWT.

سَلَـٰمٌ۬ قَوۡلاً۬ مِّن رَّبٍّ۬ رَّحِيمٍ۬

Salam sejahtera dari Tuhan Yang Maha Mengasihani. (Yaa Siin 36:58)

Sebagai contoh, saya memetik beberapa ayat Al Quran:

وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ۬ فَحَيُّواْ بِأَحۡسَنَ مِنۡہَآ أَوۡ رُدُّوهَآ‌ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ حَسِيبًا

Dan apabila kamu diberikan penghormatan dengan sesuatu ucapan hormat (seperti memberi salam), maka balaslah penghormatan itu dengan yang lebih baik daripadanya, atau balaslah dia (dengan cara yang sama). Sesungguhnya Allah sentiasa menghitung tiap-tiap sesuatu. (An-Nisaa' 4:86)

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَـٰمً۬ا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ

Ketika mereka masuk mendapatkannya lalu memberi salam dengan berkata: "Selamat sejahtera kepadamu!" Ia berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami berasa takut kepada kamu". (Al-Hijr 15:52)

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

"Salam sejahtera kepada Nabi Nuh dalam kalangan penduduk seluruh alam ! " (As-Saaffaat 37:79)

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٲهِيمَ

"Salam sejahtera kepada Nabi Ibrahim!". (As-Saaffaat 37:109)

Penulis-penulis artikel ini menggunakan kenyataan Al Fadhil Ustaz Zawawi sebagai menguatkan hujahnya, sedangkan tiada kaitan perenggan yang pertama dengan kenyataan Ustaz Zawawi, malah menggunakan gambar Ustaz Zawawi lagi...sangat mengelirukan.

Kita sering berselawat dan memberi salam kepada Rasulullah SAW dengan ucapan,

الصلوة والسلام عليك يا رسول الله، الصلوة والسلام عليك يا حبيب الله

Selawat dan SALAM ke atasmu wahai Rasulullah..

Selawat dan SALAM ke atasmu wahai Kekasih Allah..

Allah SWT memerintahkan kita berselawat dan mengucap SALAM kepada Rasulullah SAW, maksud firman Allah SWT,

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

"Sesungguhnya Allah dan malaikatNya berselawat (memberi segala penghormatan dan kebaikan) kepada Nabi (Muhammad SAW); wahai orang-orang yang beriman berselawatlah kamu kepadanya serta ucapkanlah SALAM sejahtera dengan penghormatan yang sepenuhnya. (Al-Ahzaab 33:56)

“Tiga perkara yang boleh mengeratkan persahabatan dengan saudaramu iaitu memberi SALAM apabila bertemu dengannya dan menyediakan tempat duduknya dalam sesuatu majlis serta panggilah ia dengan nama yang paling disenanginya.” [Riwayat Al-Tabrani]

Adakah SALAM di sini bermaksud "SELAMAT TINGGAL"?

'by HAZIQ RIDZUAN' LOGO DESIGNING CONTEST! (affiliated with Courteous Couture Sdn. Bhd.)

Assalamualaikum and hi to everyone! Since I'm going to launch my own branding for my clothes design, I need someone to design the logo for my label. It must be computer generated (bukan lukis tangan punya haa...hihihi), and ade unsur-unsur 'haziq' in that particular logo. So here are the specifications that should be included in the logo.

1. Must have this quote; 'by HAZIQ RIDZUAN'

2. Font depends on creativity as long as it holds the criteria of : glam, elegant, vintage, classy and fun.

3. You can only mix the combination of these colours in the logo: black, white, purple, silver, gold, grey, turquoise, royal blue, fuchsia or maroon. (not necessarily mix all colour, use 1 or 2 also can. But must only use these colours)

4. Any shape would be fine! Again it depends on your creativity=)

1. This competition is open for ALL Malaysian. No age boundaries. (opah, atok pun bile gak join kalau teringin)

2. Participants can send as many design as they want. (Tapi hanya layak menang for 1 placing je. I'll choose the best from all of your design la)
